Connect your app
Claude Code
Add Ollive to Claude Code with one command.
Before you start
Install Claude Code. You can add Ollive for one project, for every project, or for your whole team.
You also need an Ollive login with access to the workspace you want to use. There’s no API key to create.
Add Ollive
Run this in your terminal:
Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http ollive https://mcp.ollive.ai/mcpThis adds Ollive to the current project. To use it in every project, add --scope user. To share it with your team, add --scope project instead: Claude Code saves it in the project’s .mcp.json, like this.
.mcp.json
{ "mcpServers": { "ollive": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.ollive.ai/mcp" } }}A shared setup holds only the address. Each person still signs in with their own Ollive login.
Run this, or start Claude Code, type
/mcpand choose ollive. Your browser opens Ollive.Terminal
claude mcp login olliveSign in to Ollive if you’re asked. Check the app and the workspace, then select Allow. When the page says Claude Code is connected, close the tab and go back to Claude Code.
Check it works
Ollive should show as connected:
Terminal
claude mcp listThen ask Claude Code:
Which of my agents does Ollive monitor?
Troubleshooting
- Ollive shows “Needs authentication”: Run
claude mcp login olliveagain. - Your browser doesn’t open: Run
claude mcp login ollive --no-browser. It prints a link to open yourself. - You want a different workspace: Run
claude mcp logout ollive, thenclaude mcp login ollive, and choose the other workspace. - You want to remove Ollive: Run
claude mcp remove ollive. This signs Claude Code out of Ollive too.
